Privacy Policy
This policy explains what FreightRoam stores, why, and the controls around it. It is provided for transparency and is not legal advice.
Information we collect
Account information you provide when signing up: name, email address and, optionally, phone number. Workspace information your organization enters: company details, driver records, vehicles, routes, loads, fuel purchases, expenses, time entries, payroll settlements, documents, training records and messages. Contact form submissions you send us from this site.
How we use it
To operate the service: authenticate you, show your organization's records to the people authorized to see them, calculate settlements and reports from your own data, and notify you about work assigned to you. We do not sell your data and we do not use your workspace records for advertising.
Location data
FreightRoam does not track drivers continuously. Location-related information is recorded only when a person submits something that includes it, such as a fuel purchase location or a route step they complete.
Security
Passwords are handled by our managed authentication provider and are never stored by the application. Access to workspace records is enforced at the database with row-level security, so members of one organization cannot read another organization's data. Uploaded documents, receipts and photos are stored in private buckets and opened only through short-lived signed links. Sensitive changes are recorded in an audit log. FreightRoam does not store bank account numbers or full government identification numbers.
Service providers
We use infrastructure providers to host the application, database, authentication and file storage. They process data on our behalf to run the service.
Retention and deletion
Workspace records are retained while the organization's account is active. Owners and admins can archive records in the app. To request deletion of an account or its data, contact us.
Your choices
You can update your profile and change your password in the app. You can request a copy or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. If you were invited to a workspace, your organization's owner controls the records about your work within it.
