Guides
Create the organization, invite your staff, add vehicles, then drivers, then start dispatching routes. Documents and training can follow once people are in.
Owners and admins control the workspace. Operations managers handle drivers and equipment. Dispatchers run routes and loads. Finance handles payroll and expense decisions. Drivers see only their own work.
A route moves from planned to dispatched, then the driver checks in, confirms pickup, runs in transit, confirms delivery and completes it. Each step records who did it and when.
Create a pay period, then calculate. FreightRoam sums completed routes, delivered loads, approved hours and approved reimbursable expenses inside those dates, applying each driver's pay basis.
Put expiration dates on driver CDLs and medical cards, vehicle insurance and registration, and uploaded documents. The compliance page then shows what is expired or expiring.
It does not file payroll taxes or 1099s, move money, or track drivers continuously by GPS. Settlements are calculated and exported for payout elsewhere.
